• Does the RedteaGO support voice and SMS services?

  Only network data package are currently supported.

• Should I purchase RedteaGO data package in advance before going abroad?

  Its recommended that the package is purchased with a network domestically or width Wi-Fi network overseas.

• How can I pay when purchasing the RedteaGO data package?

  RedteaGO currently supports WeChat Pay, Alipay, International credit card, PayPal. More payment methods will be made available in future.

• Will the data package be available immediately after purchase?

  The data package will not be available until the order is activated at the destination, it will start to count upon activation and refund will be no longer possible. No network connection is required for activation.

• Can I use the packages I purchased in the RedteaGO on other accounts or phones?

  Purchased packages are bound to the phone used for purchase and can only be used on that phone. Packages cannot be switched to other phones.

• What is the speed of the RedteaGO data package like?

  In general, its the speed of a 3/4G network. In one or two countries it may be the speed of a 2G network, depending on operators in these countries or regions.

• How long does it take to enable RedteaGO data package?

  It takes about 1-3 minutes to enable the data package, depending on operators in these countries or regions.

• Is hotspot sharing available after the RedteaGO data package is enabled?

  Hotspot sharing is supported in most countries or regions. If hotspot sharing is not supported or the number of hotspots that it can share with is restricted in some countries, please refer to details in the package instructions.

• How is the start and end time for the RedteaGO data package counted?

  The time starts immediately after activation. In general, 24 hours is counted as one package day. For example, if you activate a package at 16:00 on January 1 for 2 days, the package will be valid till 16:00 on January 3.

• What should I do If enabling RedteaGO data package is unsuccessful?

  RedteaGO uses a virtual SIM card. Just like when using a physical SIM card, network coverage in the area is required. RedteaGO packages are currently region-specific. Therefore, please check whether youre in a supported area before enabling the data package. If you fail to enable the data package in a supported area, its usually because the signal in the area is not good or the area is not covered by the operator. If this happens, you can try a different area.

• Can a physical SIM card still be used when RedteaGO data package is enabled?

  Enabling the RedteaGO data packagewill generate a virtual card, the card needs to occupy a card slot. If the card slot has a physical SIM card, the card will be temporarily unavailable. If you need to use the disabled physical SIM card, you need to close the RedteaGO data package.

• Will the RedteaGO data package affect the original SIM card in the phone?

  No, it wont. RedteaGO data package uses virtual SIM card technology. It has absolutely no impact on the SIM card in your phone, and it will not incur any data charges or damage the SIM card.

• Can I get a refund for an RedteaGO data package order?

  If a purchased package is not activated within the usage period, you can apply for a refund. The refund will be in your original payment account within 7 working days after the application is approved. Generally speaking, you cannot apply for a refund for an enabled package.
